Carol Walton FCA is currently a Director at Usher Spiby in Manchester. Carol trained in a small firm, spent 3 years at BDO in their tax department but otherwise has worked entirely in general practice. Apart from being a Fellow of the Institute Carol also holds the CTA and Dip PFS qualifications.
Carol has been involved with the Manchester Chartered Accountants for many years having been a LACA for 10 years and a town group co-ordinator for 13 years. She also spent 6 years on the ICAEW Audit Registration Committee.
In her spare time Carol, who is married with 2 sons, enjoys walking and cycling.

Su Rai is a partner at Mazars, Manchester and heads the Manchester Chartered Accountants Charity Group. Su has worked with a large number of charities covering accounting, audit, donor reporting, mergers etc.
Su has also participated in the “Business in the Community” initiative which, amongst other services, provides mentoring services to head teachers. Additionally, she has provided trustee training to charity boards which has covered risk management, technical updates and trustee responsibilities.
Vice president: Martin Robinson
Martin Robinson is Executive Chairman of Braemar Group plc, an AIM quoted corporate finance and property fund management business, with day to day responsibility for running the corporate finance division.
He also sits on the boards of the general partner companies that manage each of its residential property limited partnerships and Braemar UK Agricultural Land plc, and is a non-executive director of several other public and private companies. He is a member of the Strategy Committee for pro-manchester, with which he has been involved from its earliest days.
