What is ICAEW CFAB?

There are no set academic entry criteria, so ICAEW CFAB is open to all. So, if you are looking to increase your business skills, or are considering a career in business or want to start your own company – then ICAEW CFAB is ideal for you. This six-module qualification can be started at any time of year and can be studied on its own or alongside a college course, degree course or work commitments. So how you study and how long you take to complete ICAEW CFAB is 100% up to you.

Once you have completed ICAEW CFAB, you will have gained a globally recognised qualification that shows you are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to succeed in a career in business. However, as an ICAEW CFAB holder the journey doesn't have to stop there - you can take your professional and personal development one step further and apply for the ICAEW Business and Finance Professional (BFP) designation.

The designation will provide you with professional recognition, access to management resources and the ICAEW helplines, as well as with the right to use the BFP letters after your name, helping you to stand out.

Entry requirements  There are no formal academic entry requirements. However, you will need to be within travelling distance of an ICAEW approved test centre in order to sit the exams.

The certificate qualification has six modules: Business, Technology and Finance, Management Information, Law, Assurance, Principles of Taxation and Accounting.
