Retired as a senior partner of PwC UK in 2020, having joined the firm in 1983. Remains a part-time Advisor to the firm.
Previously served as Chair of ICAEW’s Audit and Assurance Faculty, Chair of the Audit Quality Forum and as a member of ICAEW Council.
Charles is an Alderman of the City of London and served as 690th Lord Mayor of London between 2017-18.
