David Cruickshank became Non-Executive Chair of McInroy & Wood Limited in 2022. In April he was elected President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland for the 2026-2027 year.
Previously, David joined the Board of Jupiter Fund Management in 2021 and was Chair between 2023 until he retired in 2026. Prior to this, David spent his career with Deloitte, where he was a partner and led the Tax practice from 1998-2006, served as UK Chair between 2007 - 2015 and as Global Chair from 2015 - 2019. He retired from Deloitte in 2020.
He also chairs the Board of Trustees of the UK charity Education and Employers and chairs the Board of Directors of the Social Progress Imperative (a US not-for-profit that produces the Social Progress Index).
