John is the Chairman of Bloomsbury Publishing, Chairman of Primark’s Strategic Advisory Board and Non-Executive Director of SSE and chairs the Audit Committee.
He is also Chairman of the UK Deposit Return Scheme, Exchange for Change, which is due to go live in October 2027.
John also chairs the charity, The Egmont Trust which supports community groups across Sub-Saharan Africa with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS, and chairs Hounslow Pride of Place, creating initiatives to deliver positive social impact in the borough.
