Since 2022, Rob has been a tax associate director working for RSM in Liverpool and in Chester.
He joined the Liverpool office of what was then Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte as a graduate trainee in their tax department in 2001 and later spent several years at Grant Thornton.
In 2018, Rob joined the committee of the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants, becoming President for 2023/24. During his term in office, he led on the transition to the new Network model and chaired the newly created ICAEW Liverpool Board until October 2024. Rob is still a member of both the Committee and the ICAEW Board.
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), and between 2014 and 2017 chaired the Merseyside Branch.
