ICAEW announces three senior appointments

ICAEW has today announced three key appointments to its senior leadership team as part of a reshaped C-suite to take forward its new strategy, Direction 2030.

Louise Coleman has been appointed Chief Membership Officer effective from 19 November 2025.  In this role, she will lead the development and implementation of the Institute’s global membership strategy. This includes developing the member value proposition and enhancing the member experience from admission through to life membership to increase engagement and satisfaction.  

Louise has more than 20 years’ experience across the financial, legal and media sectors. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Customer Success and Service Delivery at Fitch Solutions where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global client engagement strategy and leading the development of the customer success function.

ICAEW has named Dana Day as Chief Learning Officer. She will join the Institute on 5 January 2026 and lead lifelong learning provision for students and members. This includes the ongoing development of the ACA qualification, pathways to membership, CPD opportunities and new qualifications.

Dana brings 25 years of experience from the education and financial sectors.  She is currently Managing Director, Global Partnerships & Business Development at CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals.

Laetitia Rennie has been appointed Chief Brand and Marketing Officer effective from 5 January 2026. She will lead ICAEW’s brand and marketing strategy to further drive student and member engagement, retention and growth.

Laetitia joins ICAEW from London Business School, where she served as Chief Marketing & Creative Officer, leading the School’s global brand strategy and creative direction.

All three roles will report directly to ICAEW Chief Executive, Alan Vallance and form part a strengthened C-suite team based around nine pillars.

Louise Coleman

Louise Coleman is an accomplished business leader with more than twenty years’ experience across the financial, legal and media sectors. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Customer Success and Service Delivery at Fitch Solutions where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global client engagement strategy and leading the development of the customer success function. In this role, Louise led a diverse team across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions, driving initiatives that enhanced customer experience and retention. She also led the digital transformation of customer support, using  technology to optimise service delivery and operational efficiency.  

Beyond her commercial achievements, Louise is deeply committed to people and culture. She was a founding member of Fitch Group’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and is a certified Mental Health First Aider. In her spare time, Louise enjoys travel, climbing mountains and supporting her son’s amateur rugby team.

Dana Day

Dana Day has a distinguished track record in business development, institutional partnerships, and education strategy across the global financial services sector. She is currently Managing Director, Global Partnerships & Business Development at CFA Institute.  In this role, she has repositioned CFA’s learning solutions and introduced a diversified product suite, embedding AI and modular learning approaches based on client feedback and market insights.  

Dana began her career in education at the Children’s Academy before transitioning to the investment management sector with Bernstein Wealth Management. She later joined Aviva Investors as Director of Business Development, focusing on trustee education before moving to her first role at CFA Institute, as Director of Institutional Partnerships.  Prior to her current position, she was an executive committee member at 20-20 Trustee Services Limited, and Director of Business Development at Cardano UK.  

Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology/sociology from Cornell University which informs her approach to change management, team development, and stakeholder engagement. 

Laetitia Rennie

With more than two decades of experience, including over a decade at Saatchi & Saatchi London where she was a Managing Partner, Laetitia has deep expertise in strategic brand leadership, marketing transformation, and creative excellence. Laetitia is currently Chief Marketing & Creative Officer at London Business School, where she leads the School’s global brand strategy and creative direction.
