Neil has been a member of the ICAEW council since 2023, representing the West of England. He is a transformation director for cloud and AI provider, Oracle. Previously, Neil held global finance leadership roles with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mars, and Jacobs Solutions Incorporated, where he spent 17 years and served as Vice President of Finance.
Neil is an active volunteer for ICAEW and has been a member and president of the West of England Board, Chair of the Aerospace and Defence CFO Forum (which he created), and a member of the Business Committee. Additionally, Neil was the architect behind developing the successful ICAEW “Transformation” series of articles and webinars.

Neil became a member of ICAEW in 1995, having qualified with PwC.
Derek Blair is the current president of ICAEW, while Caroline Smale is Deputy President and Rob Tindle is Vice President. The next presidential handover will take place in June 2026.
