Biography

Ede started his career in 1984 with Touche Ross & Co in London and joined the family firm in Lagos in 1989.

Ede’s experience spans audit and consultancy in a variety of industries.

Ede was appointed the Chair of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation in 2015, is the Chair of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Export Promotion Group (MANEG) and currently serves as the Chair of ICAEW’s Members Advisory Board for Africa. He is a Trustee of the Guild of Fine Artists of Nigeria.

The Dafinone family are in the Guinness Book of Records for having the highest number of members of a nuclear family as members of ICAEW. Ede’s father, himself and his four siblings all being members of the Institute.
