Biography
Steven leads the Accounting Technical Services (ATS) team for Mazars in the UK. Steven is a technical accounting specialist and regularly issues accounting opinions under both IFRS and UK GAAP. He has a detailed knowledge of the application of accounting standards, and regularly reviews financial statements for compliance with applicable GAAP. He also regularly undertakes financial reporting valuations in respect of intangible assets.
Steven is routinely appointed as an Expert Accountant in large corporate disputes. As part of his work on forensic investigations Steven has inter-alia been appointed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the US Department of Justice and the Financial Conduct Authority.
Steven is currently the Chair of the Financial Reporting Faculty of the ICAEW and an Advisory Panel member of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
