Biography
Having read law at the University of Hull, trained and qualified with what is now EY and spent 13 years as a Partner in the Hull office. Joined Smailes Goldie in 2002. A former District Society President, he has been involved with the Humberside & District Society since the early 1980s. Outside of work he is a trustee and treasurer of several charities, Chair of governors at an Academy, a Director of a Multi-Academy Trust, a member of the University of Hull Audit Committee and a Rotarian. Interests include football (Hull City and Manchester United), theatre and steam railways.
