Biography
Born and bred in Liverpool, I have spent all my professional life in practice in the city. I was a partner in PKF (BDO following the national merger in 2013) for over 25 years and headed up the Liverpool office for part of that time. I was responsible for student recruitment and encouraged those joining the profession to get involved in Local Society affairs. It is appropriate that, having left practice in 2015, I have now joined Liverpool Hope University Business School where I head up the Accounting and Finance tutor group. I also chair the audit committee of a large housing association in the region.
