Biography
I trained with one of the “big firms” before becoming a Partner in one of the largest independent firms in NE of England, subsequently establishing my own practice in 2000. Tindles LLP is a two Partner firm specialising in servicing Entrepreneurial clients, by providing a full range of Business Advisory and Compliance services.
We are a committed ACA training firm with all professional staff having been recruited after A Levels or university and trained by the firm, and many achieving senior positions, including my partner, in the firm.
Other business interests include a property and hotel development and operations company. I’m also Chair of the Board of Governors of my local Independent School. I’m the Past President of Northern Society of Chartered Accountants (2015/16), and currently ICAEW Council Member (2017/2021). Spare time is spent with my family; watching football (Newcastle); skiing; riding my motor bike and keeping up with current affairs by reading lots of newspapers!
