Jonathan retired from full-time work in May 2021. Until retirement, he had been a partner and on the management board at Bishop Fleming LLP, a top-30 accountancy practice based in the South West, where he led the Restructuring team. He had been an appointment-taking Insolvency Practitioner dealing with solvent and insolvent companies, providing restructuring, recovery and insolvency advice to creditors, directors and shareholders. He is also a holder of the ICAEW Diploma in Corporate Finance. From 2001 to 2010 he was a Corporate Adviser on OFEX and PLUS Markets.
He led Bishop Fleming’s Corporate Finance team for several years, before moving into restructuring in 2012. From 1992 to 1999 he was Group Financial Controller of a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He is a Trustee and the Honorary Treasurer of the Bristol Benevolent Institution, a charity helping the elderly of Bristol and its environs.
