An update on the 2017 ICAEW GP Benchmarking Survey.

The 2017 ICAEW GP Benchmarking Survey has recently been released. Based on information provided by members of the Healthcare Group, this is collated from 645 GP practices serving some 5.7m patients nationally, split into GMS and PMS contracts, and into Dispensing and Non-dispensing practices.

The results have been summarised and circulated to members who participated in the survey and show a modest increase in profit by partner over the previous years in all categories.

This benchmarking summary can be used to supplement any management information supplied to clients and also to validate members owing internal benchmarking exercises.

The 2018 survey will launch in February 2018, with results expected to be issued to participating members in the middle of the year.

If you wish to participate in next year’s survey please contact communities@icaew.com.
