Live web chat
To contact ICAEW, you can use our Live web chat facility. An advisor will be able to take your query and resolve it, or connect you with the relevant teams.
July exam issues
If you feel that your performance during your exam was adversely affected by issues you may have faced, please apply for special considerations. You can find guidance on how to apply here.
Please note that if you have chosen to apply for special considerations you will not automatically be sent an email confirmation. However, you can check if your application has been received in the additional documents section in the special considerations area of exams online. This should show as "Accepted", if not please re-apply. This can be accessed here.
Live web chat is available between 09:00 – 17:00 (UK Time), Monday to Friday and 10:00 - 17:00 (UK Time) on Wednesdays, excluding UK bank holidays.
The following teams can be contacted using Live web chat:
- Student support
- Members information
- Events information
- Technical and ethics advisory
If no agents are available, you can view alternative ways to contact us on our Helplines and Support pages.
Unfortunately ICAEW Technical Advisory Service is currently short staffed, and as a result queue times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. As an alternative to speaking to an advisor via telephone or webchat, ICAEW’s Technical Advisory Service have produced a range of technical, ethical and anti-money laundering helpsheets based on some of the most common enquiries we receive that may be of assistance to you with your enquiry.
Students can also find answers 24/7 to a wide range of questions using Mia, ICAEW’s chatbot on our student pages.
If you’ve ended a chat session and wish to start another between these times, please reload the page.
