ICAEW Humberside & District Society of Chartered Accountants
Welcome to the home page of ICAEW Humberside. We are a local touch point of ICAEW, run by members, for members.
We support members throughout their career and offer a range of services including:
- CPD: technical courses and updates as well as soft-skills and leadership workshops
- Connected Communities: District News, local member forums, support at various transitional periods such as newly qualified, a move from practice to business, career breaks and so on
- Networking: social events, dinners, as well as events with other professional bodies to broaden our members networks.
Join Malcolm Bellamy, FCA for a guided tour and talk through the grounds of Elvington air museum, to include luncheon.
Join Mark Wilcockson, Senior Manager at the British Business Bank for an update on Government support schemes as we reach the end of the furlough period.
Join International Trade Advisers Duncan Slater and Sharon Stathers for an introduction to the support and services available to ICAEW members in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
We invite you to join us in this crucial roundtable discussion as we gather insights to feed into the forthcoming ICAEW National Skills Consultation, with Director of Business and Industrial Strategy Iain Wright.
A virtual lunch to give our younger members a chance to connect, share their experiences/advice in the current situation, and also ask any questions or give feedback to ICAEW
Let the 2020 battle commence for this year’s three prize trophies.

The Society was formed in 1927. It covers the County of East Yorkshire, part of North Yorkshire around Scarborough, and the Counties of North and North East Lincolnshire and part of the County of Lincolnshire.
The society’s members come from accountancy practices small and large and from a range of business, public sector and Third Sector interests. The district society is deeply engaged in the development of the local economy and regards the promotion of the profession – especially among students – as a crucial part of its work.
It also acts as a link between ICAEW in Moorgate Place and members in the district.
