ICAEW Humberside & District Society of Chartered Accountants
Welcome to the home page of ICAEW Humberside. We are a local touch point of ICAEW, run by members, for members.
We support members throughout their career and offer a range of services including:
- CPD: technical courses and updates as well as soft-skills and leadership workshops
- Connected Communities: District News, local member forums, support at various transitional periods such as newly qualified, a move from practice to business, career breaks and so on
- Networking: social events, dinners, as well as events with other professional bodies to broaden our members networks.
With District Society AGMs just around the corner, this is a great time to find out more about your local member group and to get involved with your committee. The H&DSCA are currently seeking a Treasurer for their main committee, for further details please contact your Regional Executive. We spoke to some members who've already taken that step - and explored the many ways that they – and their fellow members – have benefited from their involvement. Here is more on how getting involved can make a difference.
The 2021 continuing professional development training programme for ICAEW Regions.
For further details of the 2021 CPD programme offered by the district society, in partnership with Mercia Group Limited, read the e-brochure.
The Society was formed in 1927. It covers the County of East Yorkshire, part of North Yorkshire around Scarborough, and the Counties of North and North East Lincolnshire and part of the County of Lincolnshire.
The society’s members come from accountancy practices small and large and from a range of business, public sector and Third Sector interests. The district society is deeply engaged in the development of the local economy and regards the promotion of the profession – especially among students – as a crucial part of its work.
It also acts as a link between ICAEW in Moorgate Place and members in the district.
