Event: reacting to future business challenges
Hosted by the London Society of Chartered Accountants and the South Essex Society of Chartered Accountants, this event will give business members three updates on topics of real relevance to you and your business – the impact of artificial intelligence, key skills for accountants and how to rescue the high street.
March 2020
The event, to be held at Stratford Circus Arts Centre, Theatre Square E15 1BX on 23 March 2020 from 5.30pm to 8pn, will bring together three specialists to give updates on their field. It is focused on developing commerciality rather than deepening technical accounting knowledge.
Peter Cochrane, OBE, is a business advisor to international industries and will be giving an insight into how AI is going to affect your career in the coming years.
James Atherton, Senior Development Manager at shopping centre owner Westfield, will be shedding light on how Westfield is planning to combat the decline of the high street.
Angus Farr, Director of Training Counts and former President of the LSCA, will be covering the key seven and a half skills that all accountants need to be aware of.
The presentations will be followed with a Q&A session and refreshments.
