The ICAEW Members in Queensland member group was launched in 2010, to provide support and focus for members based in Queensland.
Chair: Claire Davis Leadership Performance Coach
Claire qualified in the UK when working with Ernst & Young. Claire moved into the social housing sector with roles including Director of Resources and Group Finance Director.On moving to Queensland in 2005, Claire worked in both commercial and not for profit sectors with roles including Chief Finance Office and Director of Corporate Services. Over the last 11 years, Claire has been a Board Member and has coached Partners and senior executives in major brands. Claire became Chair of the Queensland Branch in 2017.
Treasurer: Tim Allman Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Tim qualified in the UK with PwC and worked in public practice in the UK and Luxembourg prior to moving to Australia with PwC in 2002. Tim is currently a partner within the Assurance practice in PwC Brisbane. He has provided assurance (external & Internal), accounting advice, transaction and independent expert services to a broad base of clients. From an industry perspective Tim has covered many industries but in more recent years has had a particular focus on energy, oil & gas and infrastructure related industries. Tim has been involved with the Queensland member group since it was launched in 2010.
Secretary: Alastair Cranswick NSW Regional Finance Manager, RPS Group
Al Cranswick specialises in improving the effectiveness of finance and ICT teams. Al has gained sound knowledge of the key ingredients of an effective finance or ICT team, through his time as a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Al works closely with finance and ICT teams to align their processes and output with the requirements of senior management. Al has successfully transformed corporate service teams across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Al is currently employed as CFO with Brisbane Youth Service and also engaged as non-executive Treasurer on a number of committees of not-for profit organisations.
