ICAEW office in Hong Kong
Dedicated to deliver services to members in Hong Kong, we offer various events and networking opportunities throughout the year, with the support and engagement of Hong Kong Committee and Younger Member Committee.
End of year message from Sir David Li
The past year has been a learning experience for us all. The global coronavirus pandemic tested us and forced us to rethink our priorities. We have realigned our businesses to put the health and safety of our employees and our customers first. We have cooperated with each other in new and innovative ways to see us through the pandemic.
As we look forward to 2021 and the prospect of the wide availability of effective vaccines, I take this opportunity to thank all of our ICAEW members for their role in overcoming the many difficulties that Hong Kong and the rest of the world faced in 2020. The support provided to business partners and clients has been invaluable.
I also extend a special note of thanks to the head of the ICAEW’s Hong Kong office, Ms. Mary Simpson, who turned adversity to advantage by running a record number of member engagement programmes during the past year through online forums and seminars. Her proactive response showed the value of the ICAEW’s membership network, tapping the rich expertise within our organisation to bring fresh approaches to our work during this time of great need.
As we approach the holiday season, I take special pleasure in wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year, which I hope holds in store all that you wish for yourselves.
