We asked shortlisted entrants to our One Young World competition to tell us how accountants can help address some of our most important economic, environmental and social issues

How will the next generation of accountants make an impact on the world? We’ve asked four of the shortlisted entrants to our Chartered Stars competition to tell us what they think, including our winning Chartered Stars for 2021, James Skilton and Mariee Payne, along with Nicholas Tay and Pearl Ebineng.

Earlier this year, ICAEW invited ACA students to enter our Chartered Stars competition, with the chance to represent ICAEW at the next One Young World summit.

The annual summit brings together the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact.

This year's One Young World summit will take place in Munich from 23-26 April 2021, bringing together over 1,800 young leaders from 190+ countries.
