The Technology Hub is available to all ACA students, regardless of when they started their studies.
What is the Technology Hub?
Automation, AI, and data analytics are transforming the future of accountancy. Digital tools now support smarter decision-making, stronger compliance and more efficient working practices.
The ACA integrates technology throughout, preparing trainees for the future workplace. The Technology Hub provides an additional opportunity for students to:
- Explore industry-standard digital tools in real-world simulations.
- Develop skills in data analytics, automation and cloud accounting.
- Build their digital knowledge and confidence.
- Bridge the gap between study and real-world application.
Through the Technology Hub, your students can trial leading platforms across audit analytics, data automation, cloud accounting and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance.

ICAEW has partnered with these technology partners to give your ACA students access to practice platforms, guided exercises and learning resources. Whichever technologies your organisation uses, the Technology Hub can help your students gain confidence and develop their digital skills. More platforms will be added over time, keeping students up to date with the latest tools across the profession.

Access to the Technology Hub
The Technology Hub is an added benefit for ACA students which does not form part of the assessment criteria for the ACA. Authorised Training Employers/Principals can browse the student Technology Hub page, but do not have access to the trial software.
