Did the programme meet your expectations?

Yes it definitely met them and even surpassed them. I had clear objectives to create my own style of leadership and that’s what the programme provided.

How did it differ from other leadership programmes you have attended?

This programme presented lots of tips and techniques and suggested using a mixture or a blend of them to suit your style and personality rather than telling us how we should or shouldn’t do things. The peer learning groups also encouraged you to try things out and then feedback to the group in the next session. Dealing with real issues makes it more engaging and it is interesting hearing how things have worked for different people, as well as seeing how it works for you.

"I was able to share some ideas and techniques (with Andrew Haven) that had worked for me when I worked in and around dealing rooms. It was really rewarding to see Andrew move from being driven by the daily demands of the dealing room to managing his team to deal with the issues and then get ahead. What difference has the programme made to the business?"
