Number of partners

United Kingdom: Top firms

Accountancy Daily

The Accountancy Daily Top 75 league table of UK accountancy firms provides details of the number of partners in each firm. In some editions of the league table (or in supporting tables) the number of female partners for each firm has been identified. The league table is published annually in Accountancy Daily.

Prior to 2019, the league table was published in Accountancy magazine. Recent editions can be accessed through the Accountancy Daily website at Top UK firms. Older surveys may be available from the ICAEW Library & Information Service which holds a complete run of Accountancy magazine.

Accountancy Age
The Accountancy Age survey is published annually and provides figures for the number of partners in the top 50 accountancy firms. In later editions of the table the split percentage of male and female partners for each firm has been identified. The 2009 edition of the survey was extended to the top 100.

You can access the list of firms at Accountancy Age: Top 50+50 Accountancy Firms 2020. Older surveys may be available from the ICAEW Library & Information Service which holds a complete run of Accountancy Age.
