Economic indicators measuring inflation are available from a number of sources, including government and professional bodies. On this page you can access reports and online resources providing statistics and commentary.

Bank of England Monetary Policy Report
This quarterly report gives economic analysis and inflation projections, providing an assessment of the prospects for UK inflation. The report also indicates the medium-term inflation prospects and risks for the UK. Known as the Bank of England Inflation report until November 2019.
Bank of England/GfK BOP Inflation Attitudes Survey
A quarterly survey carried out by GfK NOP for the Bank of England. It records public knowledge, understanding, attitudes and expectations of interest rates and inflation. The survey began in 2001.
