Charities HR Network
Set up to promote improved HR standards within the charity, voluntary and not for profit sector.
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
The CIPD website features news, training courses and research publications on a wide range of employment issues including including diversity, performance management, employee relations, recruitment and training.
Federation of International Employers (FedEE)
The Federation represents multinational companies operating globally. It focuses on human resources, employment law, pay and job evaluation, and labour relations. Most of its services are available to members only.
HR Zone is an online network that publishing news and expert guidance for HR professionals. The Community section allows members to exchange views and take part in surveys. Free registration is required.
International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM)
The American website of IHRIM offers a bimonthly e-journal, articles, white papers and summaries of reports. Most services are available to members only.
Society for Human Resources Management
The SHRM is the is "the world’s largest HR professional society, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries" and is based in Washington DC. Has 5 different communities - 'SHRM Connect', 'Chapters'.'Executive Network', 'HR Young Professionals', and 'Legislative Advocacy Team'. Registration is required for free newsletters and there is also access to HR Today (HR News and HR magazine)
World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA)
The WFPMA describes itself as a "global network of professionals in people management". It publishes a quarterly newsletter on international HR issues as well as regional reports.
