As a member of the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer (IDW) or Wirtschaftsprüferkammer (WPK), you may be able to join ICAEW through the Recognition of Professional Qualifications Directive.
Membership agreement
We have an arrangement with the IDW and WPK as the content and level of their qualifications has been assessed as similar to the ICAEW ACA. This means qualified members of the IDW and WPK can become a member of ICAEW through the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (RPQ) Directive without the need to sit additional examinations.
