Have you completed everything you need for your Pathways application? You can submit through this page during the submission window.
Before submitting your application, please have one last look at the application checklist to make sure you have everything you need.
Once you know everything is in place, you can submit your application.

Please note that you will need your ICAEW record number and you will need to have registered as a Pathways candidate in order to submit an application.

You must submit all application documents in one go. The online exam system does not allow you to enter some documents, and then submit the rest at a later time. Everything must be submitted at the same time.
- Your Examination of Experience answers must be submitted in a Word document, and will then automatically be converted into a PDF during the application process.
- As part of your Pathways submission, you will need to pay the exam admission fee. This is payable online during the application process. It is payable at each attempt and is non-refundable in all circumstances
- You will need to submit online by 4pm (GMT) on the deadline date. We strongly advise you to submit your application well ahead of the deadline as high volumes of submissions can slow the online system down especially on deadline day.
- The online exam system closes down immediately after the deadline, therefore late or incomplete applications cannot be processed.

Why might your application be rejected?
If you have followed the process step-by-step, it's highly unlikely that your application will be rejected.
However, it may be rejected from submission if:
- you do not fully meet the applicant criteria, and/or
- your sponsor does not fully meet the applicant criteria, and/or
- your application/Examination of Experience is incomplete, and/or
- your application/Examination of Experience was submitted after the specified submission deadline, and/or
- your Examination of Experience has not been submitted following the required template, and/or
- it has been advised or declared, that you have demonstrated inappropriate conduct which has been deemed unacceptable by ICAEW.
