As a full member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) who gained membership via ICAP’s education and training route under the syllabus launched 2021 you may be eligible to join ICAEW by completing the existing Case Study exam and Ethics Learning programme (ELP). ICAP members who gained the ICAP qualification prior to the 2021 syllabus may register for Pathways.
There are no work experience requirements for this route to membership. Work Experience will only be required if you wish to apply for a Practising Certificate or the Audit Qualification. There may also be additional examinations required in these cases.
To register for the Membership Recognition Route please register here: Start your ACA training in Asia. You will be required to pay the usual student registration fee and request a Letter of Good Standing from ICAP to complete the registration process.
When you are ready to sit the exams you will be able to register to sit the Case Study and the Ethics Learning programme. A Score of 70% or more will be required to obtain the ELP.
Once you have completed the required exams you will be invited into membership by ICAEW. ICAEW will complete a final verification check with ICAP and you will be required to maintain membership of ICAP to remain a member of ICAEW through this route.
