Restructuring & Insolvency advisory group
ICAEW is the UK’s largest regulator of insolvency practitioners, offering the very best in up-to-date information, technical guidance, thought leadership and advice.
Although ICAEW has long supported IPs, we recognise the need to provide more effective, stream-lined support for members working in this growing sector. The launch of the Restructuring & Insolvency Community, steered by experts, will bring all of our restructuring and insolvency activity under one umbrella. The Community aims to:
- Advocate effectively on behalf of IPs and address issues that may impact the sector
- Provide ICAEW with a voice in the sector, particularly with government, the media and key insolvency bodies
- Develop effective support for IPs at every stage of their career, from those who are training to experienced professionals
- Develop ICAEW’s leadership role, ahead of other regulators, and provide the next generation of IPs
Who we are
The Community is led by a committee of volunteers comprising a cross-section of the IP community. It is representative of those we support – members working in small and mid-tier firms as well as the Big 4, senior professionals, their staff and those who are just beginning their insolvency career.
