Welcoming Thomas Rodwell as Chair and honouring Adam Sutton’s remarkable tenure.
The ICAEW Valuation Community advisory group is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Rodwell as its new Chair.
Celebrating Adam’s contributions
Adam joined the Valuation Community advisory group in 2019 and quickly became a driving force behind its growth and success. He assumed the Chair role in 2022 and led with clarity and vision.
During his tenure, Adam was instrumental in:
- Structuring and delivering the annual Valuation Community conferences
- Organising numerous webinars and events that addressed key sector challenges
- Producing insightful articles and thought leadership pieces
- Supporting the expansion and engagement of the Valuation Community
His friendly, collaborative attitude and technical expertise have made him a trusted voice within the ICAEW and beyond.
Reflecting on his time, Adam said:

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working alongside such passionate and knowledgeable colleagues, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. Welcoming Thomas
Thomas is a forensic accountant and business valuation expert who provides economic and financial advice. He is regularly appointed as an expert to opine on issues of finance and valuation.
On his appointment, Thomas said:
“I’m honoured to take on the role of Chair and grateful to Adam for his outstanding leadership and mentorship. His dedication has set a high bar, and I look forward to building on the strong foundation he’s laid. The valuation sector continues to evolve rapidly, and I’m excited to work with the advisory group to support our community through these changes.”
