An overview of the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF’s) Standard for measuring and disclosing on the GHG emissions associated with the financial activities of banks, (re)insurers, asset owners and managers.

The first of two webinars focusing on how to account for carbon emissions in financial services.

This webinar will:

  • Set the scene on the importance and challenges of accounting for carbon emissions in the journey to net zero;
  • Introduce the PCAF standard, an approach commonly used by financial institutions, asset managers and insurers on how to assess and disclose greenhouse gas emissions associated with financing activities (Scope 3);
  • Take you through examples on how to practically apply the standard; and,
  • Provide an overview of how the standard will continue to evolve to support carbon accounting needs.
