Morgan McKinley’s Hakan Enver talks to Chris Evans about the latest recruitment figures and trends in financial services.
The figures show that the City has seen 50% fewer jobs and the number of job seekers halved in two years. This is in no small part due to the impact of Brexit and the continued uncertainty. The concern of the Brexit deadline extension fuels that level of uncertainty. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the job market spiral further or stabilise, but still to the low levels we’ve seen recently.
