Global assignment policies and practice
Regularly updated KPMG report based on a survey of close to 600 organisations exploring trends in managing and administering international assignment programmes. The report covers areas such as assessment and performance, assignment compensation and allowances, preparation and planning, administration and outsourcing, as well as taxation policies.

Worldwide survey of international assignment policies and practices
Comprehensive survey by Mercer on latest global mobility trends based on data from over 750 multinational companies. The results are only available to survey participants.

Benefits survey for expatriates and internationally mobile employees
This annual survey by Mercer provides information on employee benefit programmes for international assignees. The survey covers benefit programmes across regions of operation, industries, company size, revenue levels, and number of expatriates. The report can be purchased by non-participants.

Expat Insider 2016
Survey from InterNations which provides analysis of everyday expat life in more than 60 countries. The Working abroad index explores the best places for expats to build a career.

NatWest IPB Quality of Life Study
Annual global study of British expatriates’ opinion and attitudes to living abroad. Examines attitudes to lifestyle, employment and financial status among 2,400 British expats. Conducted by NatWest International Personal Banking in conjunction with the Centre of Future Studies.
