Presentations - employers can bring alive the role of an ICAEW Chartered Accountant so we ensure there are plenty of opportunities for you to give presentations at schools and universities.

Need to fill a niche student role? – we can help you recruit through our networks of students across the UK.

Speed networking sessions - really popular, short, speedy interviews between students and employers where you each have five minutes to impress.

Business skills sessions - we run a variety of business skills sessions with students to help develop the skills that our employers need. Students are mentored by ACA students or newly qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountants. Providing mentors can effectively promote your organisation.

CV Search

The CV search section on ICAEW Training Vacancies features a list of partly qualified students. This includes students who:

  • are studying towards ICAEW CFAB or are an ACA independent student
  • have completed the Level 3 and 4 AAT Diploma in Accounting
  • have had their ACA training agreement terminated

You do need to be a registered employer on our Training Vacancies online job portal to access the CV search.

All students on the register have supplied evidence of their qualifications or previous training agreement, so you know they are on their way to achieving the ACA qualification.

Undergraduate Partnership Programme (UPP)

UPP is a collaboration between ICAEW, Cardiff, Manchester and Warwick business schools – three of the UK’s most prestigious universities. The programme offers students the chance to complete an internship in the third year of their four-year accounting degree course. As well as valuable experience with an employer, they may claim exemption for up to eight of the ACA exams, making UPP students highly employable.

If you are interested in attracting high-calibre students at an earlier stage, why not offer a one-year internship? Please get in touch at employerinternships@icaew.com
