Carolyn Du Toit is the Contact Member for the Cayman Islands. He is a point of contact for members' enquiries on living and working in the Cayman Islands and works with ICAEW to promote our strategy and brand within the Cayman Islands.

Biography

Carolyn is an audit partner in the Asset Management group in the Cayman Islands firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers and has fourteen years of professional experience, predominantly within assurance and business advisory services.

Upon graduating from the University of Warwick in 2004, Carolyn joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and becoming a member of the ICAEW. Carolyn joined the Cayman Islands firm from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008 where she specialised in the field of asset management with a portfolio consisting of diversified asset management clients including hedge funds, mutual funds and pension funds and covers a wide variety of corporate structures and sizes from standalone start up entities to well established, complex hedge fund group.

She is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) and was previously a member of their learning and education committee on which she served for six years. Carolyn is a 100 Women in Finance sustaining angel and is co-chair of their Cayman Islands Peer Engagement Committee as well as co-chair of the audit sub-committee thereon. She is also a regular participant in the Cayman Finance student education and work experience program for which she mentors young Caymanians in learning about the Cayman financial services industry.

Carolyn lives in Grand Cayman with her husband and dog.
