Author: ICAEW Insights

Published: 11 Jun 2026

On 11 June, Companies House confirmed it was experiencing delays in processing account filings and cannot process same day filings until further notice.

Companies House has asked ICAEW to inform members that it is aware of delays in processing filings, but reassured customers that they can continue to file as normal.

It confirmed that filings are being received and are queued, but they are not appearing on the API or webservices. However, it says that the filings will appear once the technical issue has been resolved.

It has advised customers to continue to file as normal, but to be aware that it make take longer than using for filings to appear on the register.
