Turning the Pages is an award-winning interactive tool developed by the British Library that allows us to show you some of the rarest items in our collection in digitised form.

Using the interactive tool you can explore and zoom in on our digitised Charter and rare books with greater freedom than would ever be possible with the fragile originals.

The current Royal Charter

The Charter and Bye-laws page provides PDFs of the current ICAEW Royal Charter and explanatory notes. It includes the text of both the original 1880 Royal Charter and the substantially amended 1948 Royal Charter.
