Publications and reports

BVCA Guide to private equity
A guide to private equity concepts from the BVCA, including a section on MBOs that looks at value creation in a management buyout, buy-out structure and debt finance in a management buyout transaction.

BVCA Research
The BVCA publishes industry research such as the annual reports on the Performance of portfolio companies and the industry Performance Measurement Survey as well as one-off reports such as Women in Limited Partners 2019 

International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines
Developed by AFIC, BVCA and EVCA for use by the private equity and venture capital industry in valuing private equity investments. The guidelines also provide a framework for fund managers and investors to monitor the value of existing investments.
