Notice is hereby given that the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire Society of Chartered Accountants will be held virtually on Tuesday 27 October 2026 at 16:00 to convene to consider and, if deemed fit, to pass the following resolutions:
- To approve the dissolution of the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire Society of Chartered Accountants and to authorise the Committee/Financial Stewards to take all necessary steps to wind up its affairs, including the disposal of assets and settlement of liabilities.
- To approve the transfer of funds resulting from resolution 1 (above) to Caba (Chartered Accountants’ Benevolent Association), registered charity number 1116973.
