FCA publishes finalised guidance for treatment of politically exposed persons
The FCA has updated its guidance to reflect changes to UK legislation since 2017, including clarification on the treatment of non-executive Board members in civil service departments, updates to risk levels for domestic PEPs, and revised sign-off requirements for PEP business relationships.
New OFSI FAQ on ‘domiciled’
A new FAQ has been added to OFSI's FAQ page under 'definitions'. FAQ 153 addresses how OFSI applies the term 'domiciled' in financial sanctions legislation.

Proposed changes to SIP 14: A Receiver’s Responsibility to Preferential Creditors
Following a review, the Joint Insolvency Committee (JIC) has decided that Statement of Insolvency Practice 14 should be updated not only to reflect the introduction of HMRC’s secondary preferential status in 2020 but also extended to apply to all types of insolvency appointment, not just receiverships and to apply in all of the jurisdictions.
