The ICAEW Healthcare Community Advisory Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Guy Vine as its new Chair.
Guy, a Partner at MHA and a seasoned healthcare accountant, steps into the role following several impactful years as Vice Chair. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the advisory group, which continues to support and connect professionals across the healthcare finance sector.
At the same time, the group bids a heartfelt farewell to outgoing Chair Katie Collin, Partner at Ramsay Brown LLP, whose leadership and dedication have left an indelible mark on the community.
Celebrating Katie’s Contributions
Katie joined the Healthcare Community Advisory Group in 2018 and quickly became a driving force behind its growth and success. Serving first as Vice Chair under Mark Skellum, she assumed the Chair role in 2022 and has since led with clarity, warmth, and vision.
During her tenure, Katie was instrumental in:
- Structuring and delivering the annual Healthcare Community conferences
- Organising numerous webinars and events that addressed key sector challenges
- Producing insightful articles and thought leadership pieces
- Supporting the expansion and engagement of the Healthcare Community
Her friendly, collaborative attitude and technical expertise have made her a trusted voice within the ICAEW and beyond.
Reflecting on her time, Katie shared:

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working alongside such passionate and knowledgeable colleagues, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. Guy Vine brings deep sector knowledge and a genuine passion for healthcare finance to his new role. As Vice Chair, Guy worked closely with Katie and Subject Matter Expert Sally Sidaway to prepare for advisory group meetings, conferences, and webinars. His thoughtful approach and strategic insight have already made a strong impact.
Guy is a Chartered Accountant and Partner at MHA, where he leads healthcare services. He has extensive experience supporting GP practices, Primary Care Networks, and healthcare organisations across the UK. His promotion to Chair reflects his commitment to advancing the healthcare finance profession.
