Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act - What you need to know

An overview of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015.

The Small Business Enterprise and Employment Bill was announced during the Queen’s Speech on 4 June 2014 and gained Royal Assent on 26 March 2015, becoming an Act of Parliament. The Act is designed to make the United Kingdom a more attractive place to start, finance and grow a business and reduce the barriers that many small businesses face in their drive to innovate, grow and compete. 

The Act is large and wide-ranging, covering a number of topics from access to finance, the Pubs Code, public sector procurement, insolvency and corporate transparency.
