Biography
SVG Honorary Consul in the Principality of Monaco, Business Tourism Honorary Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco, Monaco authorized Advisor, ICAEW (institute of Chartered accountants of England and Wales) Ambassador and contact point, Board member at AIIM- Association of Italian entrepreneurs of the Principality of Monaco, Knight of the Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem,, President of the Monaco Single and Multi-Family Office International Association.
With over 23 years of Big Four experience in Financial services Industry in several jurisdictions such as Monaco, UK, Spain, France, and Italy he has developed an unique internal network of HNWI and senior contacts with corporations executives and with various Governments. Giuseppe was consequently appointed Ambassador for Business tourism of the Principality of Monaco, where he is an ordinary resident specialising in Audit, Transaction Services and Internal Control, Tax services in particular assisting financial institutions and HNWI.
His experience also includes assistance to financial institutions’ risk management function. In some cases Giuseppe is enlisted to provide a fully outsourced service of the control function (Internal control, Compliance, AML) to financial institutions. Giuseppe has extensive exposure in working with large global clients and developing relationships with senior contacts, which contributed to his appointment as Monaco Private label Trusted Advisor. He also works with a number of HNWI and their family offices around the world to assist them with their M&A projects and audit needs.
As of today, he is registered as an Auditor in Italy (Revisore Contabile), Certified Public Accountant in Italy (Dottore Commercialista) and as a Chartered Accountant in the UK (ICAEW) fully fit and proper disposing of a Practice Certificate. He is qualified to teach Economics and Law in secondary schools, and in the course of his professional career, has developed extensive expertise not only in the financial sector but also in other areas by providing professional advice in the shipping and energy sector.
In addition, he has led projects relating to the conversion to international accounting standards, consulting projects for family offices and outsourced internal control projects for the financial sector: banks and asset management companies and participated in several IPO’s. Member of the ICAEW Investment Management Committee, The committee is composed of 10-15 IM professionals, in industry, practice and the UK regulator who aim to discuss the current issues and problems in IM such as IFRS 15, IFRS 16, Brexit and the impact on the UK IM industry, MiFID II, Interaction with the regulators, Regulatory capital demands and interaction with the EBA.
He has served on audit committees and as non-executive director in Monaco regulated entities and in connection to these directorships elected as member of the Standing Committee to promote the Monaco financial market place at Monaco Association for Financial Activities, AMAF (Association Monégasques Activités Financières).
Philanthropist, business angel, auspiciously also appointed Saint Vincent and Grenadines Honorary Consul in the Principality of Monaco.
