Members and Commercial Board (IMCB)
IMCB is an advisory board that reports to the CEO, providing member insight and expertise to inform and shape our work across membership-focused areas and commercial services.
The Business Committee, Practice Committee, Ethics Advisory Committee and the Support Members Steering Group (overseeing the Support Members scheme) are accountable to IMCB.
We also have a number of ICAEW Member communities and Local Network Boards that are accountable to IMCB.
Business Committee
The Business Committee is a non-executive body of standing, authority and influence through which members in business can represent their views to ICAEW and vice versa.
Ethics Advisory Committee
The Ethics Advisory Committee is responsible for overseeing the Ethics Advisory Service in its role providing ethical advice and support to members, students and affiliates.
The committee also oversees the Support Members Scheme.
Practice Committee
The IPC is a non-executive body of standing, authority and influence through which Members Engaged in Public Practice (as defined in the electoral regulations) can represent their views to ICAEW and vice versa.
Local Network Boards
Working in partnership with ICAEW’s UK Regions team, the network boards operate across the UK and devolved nations, representing the views of local members to ICAEW, key stakeholders, and relevant organisations in the region.
The local network board serves as a platform for consultation and communication, while also acting as ambassadors for ICAEW and the profession.
Members of the network board, appointed to be representative of the local membership and business landscape, contribute to ICAEW local strategic direction by providing insights and perspectives, based on their expertise.
