Keeping on track with audit developments

ICAEW is continuing its work on key developments affecting audit, assurance and reporting.

Regulators, standard setters and governments have needed to rearrange their working practices and re-balance some priorities during the coronavirus crisis and a number of significant change projects affecting the profession have been temporarily paused or delayed.

Meanwhile, the Audit and Assurance Faculty, Financial Reporting Faculty and other parts of ICAEW have continued their work to influence key future-facing developments such as audit reform, climate change reporting and the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). This article offers an update on progress.
