The ESG industry at fund houses is growing in tandem with expanding market data, writes Brian Cantwell.
Over the past three years, the number of people in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) stewardship at asset management firms has doubled, according to research from the Financial Times.
As a corollary, the number of people recruited in other dedicated ESG jobs at asset managers jumped nearly fourfold between 2017 and 2020, said the paper.
