Support for members and non-members looking to book on an ICAEW event

Looking to book on an ICAEW event? Below is some guidance on how to book if you are an ICAEW member or a non-member.

If you don't yet have an account you can create one by clicking here: Create Account.

How to book an event:

  1. Find and select the event you wish to attend at icaew.com/events.
  2. Click Book here and select the delegate under the saved delegates tab
  3. After completing any required pre-booking questions, Click add to basket
  4. You will then have the option to proceed to Checkout or make further bookings by selecting book more
  5. When checkout is selected, you will then be directed to the payment screen, please enter card details, and insert discount code if applicable.
  6. Please agree to the terms and conditions if you are happy with them, and process order.

If you cannot see a book here button

If you cannot see a book here button, you may find a notify me button this means the event is not open to bookings yet. By signing up you will be added to a list to be emailed when the event is available to book.

If you cannot see a book here button, you may find a Waitlist button this means the event is currently full, by clicking the button, you will be joining the waitlist and will be emailed should someone else cancel. Please note this is on a ‘first come first served’ basis and a space is not automatically booked for you.

Booking for someone else

If you have made a booking for this delegate previously, you will see their name under the ‘Saved Delegates’ tab.

If you have not made a booking for this delegate previously and they are an ICAEW record holder you will need to use the ‘search registered users’ tab. You will need to complete at least two fields to locate the delegate’s record.

If you have not made a booking for this delegate previously and they are not an ICAEW record holder you will need to use the ‘Add new delegate’ tab and enter their details in the required fields.

Group Bookings

Some events have the option of making group bookings. If this is available for your event, a ‘group/ company booking’ box will appear above the ‘book here’ button. This will allow you to select the number of bookings you’d like to make.

Assigning your tickets

To assign a delegate after booking you will need to log back into the events website and click on ‘Account’ → ‘Order History’ or click on ‘My Orders’ → Click the ‘Assign Delegate’ button, where you will be taken to the redemption page to assign a delegate to the booking.

This will allow you to complete any required event questions and will confirm if any places have already been assigned as will be greyed out. Once redeemed, you will be promoted to assign another delegate if applicable.
