The series aims to showcase ICAEW’s technical knowledge and ability to cover the latest accountancy updates in a contemporary, accessible format.
A monthly ‘magazine-style’ podcast discusses a range of stories featured in the ICAEW Insights coverage. You can listen to the first episode here: Tax year end, Bounce Back Loans and cryptocurrency, or subscribe to the feed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts by searching for ‘ICAEW Insights’.
As part of its response to the government’s consultation on audit and corporate reforms, ICAEW has also produced a series of four ‘In Focus’ podcasts examining different aspects of the White Paper.
Hosted by ICAEW’s Managing Director for Reputation and Influence Iain Wright, each podcast features expert guests discussing a specific topic covered by the consultation, which proposes sweeping changes that will have a profound impact on the way corporate Britain operates.

ICAEW has also released an In Focus podcast on the government’s Dasgupta review, where Philippa Kelly speaks with Thomas Viegas, economic advisor to the Review, about the implications for the finance sector.

Following on from the BEIS White Paper series, more In Focus podcasts will be released, with the next episode featuring an in-depth discussion on Women on Boards going out on 15 July. The next episode of the magazine podcast will air on 22 July 2021.
