ICAEW is proud to support bursaries at five of the top ten universities ranked in terms of social mobility in London and the UK as highlighted in the November 2021 IFS report.
The study identifies the universities in London and in the UK who contribute the most to aiding social mobility.
Of the top five in London, ICAEW Foundation provides bursaries to three of them including Queen Mary University, City and London South Bank.
In terms of the top five universities across the UK, we have bursary relationships with two of them ie Aston University and Birmingham.
In 2021, we took the unprecedented step of increasing the number of bursaries we had allocated earlier in the year to both City University and Queen Mary University. This was due to the volume of applications and number of deserving students.
